BROKERING FACILITY NOTICE
TAKE NOTICE THAT Recycle-Now! Organics Enterprises Ltd., 1575 Vernon Drive, Vancouver, BC has applied to the Greater Vancouver Sewerage and Drainage District ("Metro Vancouver") pursuant to the Greater Vancouver Sewerage and Drainage District Municipal Solid Waste and Recyclable Material Regulatory Bylaw for a Licence to:
1. Operate a Brokering Facility at 8601 Main Street, Vancouver, BC where Paper Fibre, mixed plastics, mixed glass and metal would be received and transferred to appropriately authorized facilities for recycling. These activities will reduce the volume of waste destined for disposal.
2. Operate within the boundaries of the land or premises with the legal description of: PID 009-165-088, Lot B, except North feet now road Block 13, Plan VAP5270, District Lot 322, Group 1, New Westminster Land District.
3. Open for receiving and operating Monday to Saturday 7am-5pm.
4. Ensure no more than a combined weight of 10 metric tonnes of Recyclable Materials would be on site at any given time.
It should be noted that this application is at a preliminary stage and has not gone to the Solid Waste Manager for his consideration. Therefore, aspects of the proposal may change as the application proceeds through the review process. This Notice is published pursuant to the Greater Vancouver Sewerage and Drainage District Municipal Solid Waste and Recyclable Material Regulatory Bylaw 181 as amended. A person who may be adversely affected by the granting or amending of the Licence described in this notice may, within 30 days of its publication, notify Metro Vancouver’s Solid Waste Manager in writing stating how that person is affected. The Solid Waste Manager may take into consideration any information received after 30 days only if the Solid Waste Manager has not made a decision on the Licence.
