REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
Canadian Forest Product Ltd.
is a leading integrated forest products company based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Canfor operates sawmills throughout the interior of BC and Alberta. Canfor also owns a 50.2% interest in Canfor Pulp Limited Partnership (CPLP).
Canfor is interested in soliciting individual proposals for the following projects within the Mackenzie Operations Division:
DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT
Three year non-replaceable Stump to Dump Harvesting Contract with annual volume of 200,000 m3, of cut-to-length harvesting.
Prior to obtaining an RFP package contractors must provide a prospectus with the following information:
• A brief description of your company, including: services offered, history, number of employees, major assets and the like. • Company contact name and phone number. • At least two (2) references for whom you have completed similar work. Include name of project reference, location, size and term (length) of contract, contact’s name and phone number.
Information supplemental to what is referred to in this advertisement will be described in greater detail in the “Request for Proposal” packages. Canfor may reject in whole or in part, any/and or all proposals for any reason after taking into account factors outlined in the RFP. Contractor Proposal(s) are to be submitted by 17:00 hours on Friday September 8th, 2017.
Packages for the above mentioned projects may be picked up at the Canfor Mackenzie Office, located on Mill Road Mackenzie, BC, between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 hours, Monday through Friday starting August 14th, 2017.
