CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ESQUIMALT NOTICE OF DISPOSITION In accordance with Section 26 of the Community Charter, the Council of the Township of Esquimalt (the “Township”) gives notice that it intends to lease a portion of Township owned lands legally described as PID: 003-882-641; Lot A, Section 11, Esquimalt Plan VIP 18121; as shown below (the “Property”) to ARAGON ESQUIMALT TC PROPERTIES LTD. (INC. NO. BC1068481) (“Aragon”) for a term of 99 years commencing on or about October 6, 2017. The term may be renewed for an additional period of 99 years. The lease will enable Aragon to construct, operate and maintain a parkade that will be located on the Property and adjacent lands as part of the Township’s new Town Square Project. The parkade will include parking for employees and visitors to the Township’s municipal hall and the new public library to be constructed as part of the development. Under the terms of the lease, Aragon will pay nominal rent and will be responsible for all costs associated with the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the parkade. The Township will also contribute towards the costs of operating and maintaining the parkade in proportion to the number of public stalls in the parkade. The Property and any improvements thereon will be retained by the Township at the conclusion of the lease.
